| Leigh Mark Lodge was looking forward to welcoming Mike Pinckard Provincial Grand Secretary as Principal Guest to the Proclamation ceremony of Craig Sutton WM. | |

| About four hours before the ceremony was due to start a communication was received from our RW Provincial Grand Master Keith Alan Beardmore that he had promoted Mike to Assistant Provincial Grand Master after the passing of our friend David John Winder. | |
 |

| Due to traffic conditions the opening of the lodge was delayed by a few minutes but before long our DC Gordon Glover had things running smoothly as well having the honour to bring the Brethren to Order to salute MIke as Assistant Provincial Grand Master for the first time. | |

| The Proclamation to Craig our Worshipful Master was given in an exemplary Manner by VW Brother Ian Clark PGJO. Ian was ably assisted by other members of the lodge and some guests too. | |
| I know this was a special occasion for Leigh Mark Lodge and I hope a memorable one for our new Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro Michael Jerremy Pinckard PGStwd PC. | |
